Growing our Faith

Care Cell Church

Care Cell Groups meet on a weekly basis to explore living the Christian life.   The small groups meet within informal surroundings, usually within a members home for fellowship, bible study, prayer and to support each other in growing our faith.

We are  participating in the URC development programme "Walking the Way"  and are currently following the book "Holy Habits" by Andrew Roberts.
"The call to Christian discipleship is a call to adventure. Holy Habits explores this adventure through a rich mix of biblical material and inspiring stories. "

Walking the Way

Walking the Way is the United Reformed Church’s exciting focus on lifelong Christian discipleship and mission. It moves beyond a set of programmes into the world, where each step we take is accompanied by Jesus, helping us to bring about change in our own lives and, ultimately, in Church culture and society. As you engage in Walking the Way, we hope your understanding of what being a Christian disciple means will deepen. Who knows, you may grow beyond your wildest dreams, living as a disciple in all parts of your life.

Bible Study Group

The Bible study group meets between 2:30pm and 3:30pm on Mondays at All Saints Church.  We are a friendly group and enjoy taking time out to read and talk about God's word and what it means to us.

At the moment we are studying 'Holy Habits' an exploration of Luke's model of church found in Acts 2 verses 42 - 47.  The notes we use are published by the Bible Reading Fellowship.

Prayer Group:

We come together on Thursdays at 3pm in Church to share thoughts and concerns for the church, the wider world, as well as for each other, friends and families.
